What Sirene does

Sirene searches Soundeo. The server can also search Splice, Freesound and Jamendo, but this page doesn't show them yet.

Daily picks uses your Orpheus gaps (empty keys, thin genres, your main BPM) to build a list of candidates, then ranks them. Saving picks only stores the track IDs; they don't download yet.

Playlist turns a public Spotify playlist into Soundeo downloads. Sirene reads the playlist, finds each track on Soundeo (Extended, then Original; a remix only when the Spotify title names it), downloads the MP3s you tick into one folder, and writes an M3U8 playlist file. In Rekordbox: File, Import, Import Playlist, then pick that file.

Setup

Sign in to Soundeo on the Settings page. The login is saved on this computer only.
For Daily picks and Gap searches, load your library in Orpheus first.
Pick the download folder in Settings. Default: ~/Music/Soundeo, one folder per playlist.

Troubleshooting

What you see	Cause	Fix
Soundeo is not signed in	No login saved, or the sign-in failed at start.	Open Settings, check the email and password, click Sign in. The reason for a failed sign-in shows there.
Soundeo is busy. Try again in a few seconds.	Three searches already run; Soundeo limits the rate.	Wait a few seconds and retry.
Sign-in fails with the right password	Soundeo answered with its login form instead of a session. The password may have changed on soundeo.com.	Sign in on soundeo.com in a browser to check the password, then sign in again from Settings.
Playlist: Not found on a track	Soundeo doesn't carry it, or the Spotify title differs from the Soundeo title.	Search for it by artist on the Search tab.
Playlist: Vote only	Soundeo lists the track but has no file yet; users vote for it.	Nothing to download. Check back later.
A download fails with session expired	Soundeo closed the session.	Sirene signs in again by itself and retries once. If it still fails, sign in from Settings.
Downloads stop at a number	Your daily Soundeo downloads ran out.	Wait for the daily reset. The remaining count shows on soundeo.com.

Credits

Soundeo sells downloads as credits. Searching and reading track details is free. Nothing on this page spends a credit.

Keys

Type a key as Camelot (8A) or as a note name (Am, Bb). Results show both: 8A · Am. Soundeo's own form is Amin.
